well hello!!!! its been another week!!!! can you believe it!!! i feel like it was just barely tuesday!! sometimes the weeks fly by so fast!!! its crazy! thank you so much for the package, those cookies were so good!! it made my week. and all of my roomates loved them too!! elder brody says all day he dreams about eating a homeade oreo cookie haha! wow this week has been good and crazy! last wednesday we taught for the first time in portuguese! it went really well we were able to teach, but when we asked the person questions i couldn't really understand there answers, but its all good. we can't expect to know everything yet.

this week at least 100 visas came!! like all the brazillian missionaries are gone!! its crazy! i think that means my visa is soon to come!! thank you for all your prayers, in know that it is coming. 3 more elders from my district left, so now there is only 8 of us left. so elder brody had to leave us and go with another elder. which that was kind of sad cause elder brody was awesome to teach with. but having him leave i learned a valuble lesson i think. elder brody has pretty good portuguese, so when we would teach together i felt really confident teach with him. i guess you could say i put my trust in him! but then when he left i lost that back up that i was used to and my confindence just dropped. but then i realized something. i realized that i had been putting my trust in myself. and that is not the way to go!! so i started praying alot harder and started relying on the lord and now my confindence is even stronger when i teach in portuguese. elder steffensen and i are waking up at 6 every morning to practice the first lesson so that we can get better!! i have learned that when you make sacrifices the lord will bless us! the lord has blessed me so much, i can't even begin to tell you. i never would have thought that in a month an a half i would be able to teach in portuguese! its absolutly crazy. but with the lord everything is possible, and that is really important to remember. without him i am nothing!!

being here on a mission has made me so happy! serving the lord his a wonderful thing. when i thought that maybe i would get homesick or something the lord has comforted me because i know that i am where i am supposed to be. i know this church is true, and i am so grateful to have been raised in it.

this week has been a good week i recieved quite a few letters from friends!! i have been blessed with a lot of wonderful friends, and i know because of them i am here. i recieved a dear elder from landon!! that was so awesome! i told irmao cope what you wanted me to tell him and he just laughed. it was funny. i need landons adress in provo so i can write him!

 i hope that everything is good at home! i hope work is going good for you dad, and i hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!!!!! how much snow do we have? and have you been snowmobiling lately?? have you gone to lake shore yet? i miss that, that was so much fun! but i know that there will be so much time to go snowmobiling in two years! but i am excited to go!! well i love you all! thank you so much for your love and support! i feel it every day! i have a feeling i am going to get my visa this week.! i am excited.well have got to go do some laundry. e mail me back if there is anthing you want me to answer, and i will answer tonight. i love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
