12th Transfer!!! Here We Go!!!

Wow….. what a great week we had to finish up the transfer. for the last 2 months we have been teaching an awesome couple named carlos and ruthiele and they have a little boy named ruan. they have been awesome. they are very young and are very excited. i think that ruthiele is 19 years old, carlos is about 23, and their little boy is 5 months old. on saturday they were married and boy was it fun to be with them and help their little family to grow stronger. then on saturday night they were baptized. a man named robson baptized them. about two and a half months ago we were looking for people to teach and we had the thought to stop at robson’s house to ask for references and they gave us carlos and ruthiele. so all along robson and his little family have been helping them get to church and in the end he was able to baptize them. it was really neat. elder king baptized robson a couple of months ago before he left sumaré. so these were his first baptisms. carlos didn’t progress for the first couple of weeks. we almost stopped going to their house. but one sunday, a couple of weeks ago, they went to church and from that sunday on they were golden!! we love them, and it has been so fun to work with them. they are good friends, and it is fun because we have the same age.

and now, the transfer................ what happened??????? wellll......... i STAYED!!! Yep! i get to stay at least 1 more transfer in this area! i am happy!!  i have been here for about 5 months already and all i have seen were miracles. so i am super glad to stay for a little bit more to help all these wonderful families and people that have taught me so many things! and....... i will be staying here with elder cunha! he is an awesome companion! we get along really well. i think here in a little bit we are going to go and play some soccer.

elder cunha and i are excited to have this chance to put some more stuff that we have been thinking about in practice. this transfer we are really going to involve ourselves with the zone! we have been thinking about things that we are going to do and we will do them!

lately we have been blessed to teach a lot of wonderful families, but all of them need to be married. so we will be working on that this week. their names are erivando and francisca, simone and marcos, and vilamar and eleinice. they are awesome but will need to exercise a lot of faith. all of them have been to church and have loved it, so pray for them!!

i know that this is God’s work! it is such a great work, both for me (us missionaries) and the investigators. i know that as we work hard and are obedient we can count on the strength of the Savior. i know that through His atoning sacrifice He can help us in any situation. i know that He knows us! and through our weaknesses we can know Him.  lets get to know him!!  i know that the book of Mormon testifies of him and that all the prophets speak of him. i know that he lives! and as he lives, so will we!!
