President Souza with Tyler at leadership training.
wow!! i am so happy that everything went well with the wedding!! i am so glad that everyone is so happy!! looks like it was a lot of fun!! rachel i am so happy for you!! congratulations jon! you just married the best women in the world!! i am sure you know that by now!!! i can’t wait to hear more about it!! send me details!!
well this week was pretty good. we had some ups and downs. on monday we met a girl named mariana that has been going to church for a while and she accepted to get baptized yesterday. but as sunday got closer she got a little scared so she will be baptized this sunday! we also had a wonderful week preparing luciana for her baptism. she is so awesome! she is keeping all the commandments. saturday she was interviewed and she is ready! but sunday morning her little daughter larissa got a fever and they went to the hospital!!! :( we had the baptism scheduled for night time but still they weren’t able to get home for it. so she will be baptized this week. so those were our ups and down. but they will all be baptized, so that is what matters!
now for the big news! with transfers, there has been quite a few changes in my neck of the woods. to start off, yes i was transfered. so yesterday after church i went and said goodbye to everyone. that is always really hard! i really did like this area. the work was a bit different, but i was able to learn a lot and definitely see a lot of miracles. but i was transfered. i will be going to a zone that i have never been to. it is called zona litoral. my areas will be cidade oeste and jerusalem! i will be taking care of 2 wards.... and i will be training!! i wasn’t excepting it! it will be a good experience! my comp will get here tomorrow and we will both get to know the area. i don’t really know how to get there yet. so pray for me! i am pretty sure that i will be living with elder fujisawa! so that will be really fun! the program for training has changed a lot over the last year. there is a lot more studying evolved. so i am excited. it is a 12 week period. so it will be fun!
well that is the news! i am very grateful for everything that is happening. i know that this is the Lords work! i know that the Savior lives! i know that His atonement makes everything make sense. it is the way that we will get back to our Heavenly Father! i know the book of mormon is true! i know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that Thomas S. Monson is the Lords prophet in our day. what a wonderful weekend we are about to have! GENERAL CONFERENCE!!! it will be really amazing!
I love you all so much! thank you for all the support! i am so glad that things are going good at home and that everything worked out! keep working hard and being happy!!
