Hello.........To All!

how is everyone doing!!!??? i am glad to hear things are good!! that’s awesome that elder kunzler stayed with you guys!! he’s the man! it will be good to see him again!
well this week was a good one! we followed up on our recent converts. they are doing awesome. all of them where confirmed yesterday. all the young men are excited to prepare for a mission! so we are very happy with them. sergio who is 18 asked if he could go to the temple already! he is very excited.
so we just found out from our mission email that on the 14th of november we will have a special visitor, an apostle! and guess who it will be! it will be?????............Elder...................... David........A. ............Bednar!!! YEAH!!!!! it will be so awesome. i believe while he is here, he will be doing the opening of the temple ground here. it will be so awesome! it will be another meeting like we had with elder Holland. we will get together with the whole mission! i have been very blessed on my mission. two apostles!!! and if i had to say, i think that these two are my favorites. ha-ha!
so that is some good news.
so now for updates on our work. rogerio was almost baptized. all week he is super excited to be baptized. he said that it was something that he really wanted. on thursday everything was going smoothly, we were able to finish his preparation. but then friday it seemed like he was getting a bit nervous and feeling that he wasn’t prepared. but we helped him to see that he was keeping the commandments, so he felt better. then saturday he was interviewed. everything went well he was ready, but said that he wanted more time. so we told him that we would help him. but unfortunately he didn’t go to church yesterday. so we are pretty sad about that. now it will probably be harder for him to feel prepared. but it will all work out.
this week we will also be working with a young man named isaias. he is junior’s friend (that was baptized last week). he went to church and liked it  so we have good people to look up to.
our teaching pool is still pretty small. so this week is crucial. we need to find a bunch of people. i know that the Lord will bless us.
i know that the Savior suffered and died for us. i am so grateful for His sacrifice. i know that He did it. He did it for all. now we just need to apply it in our lives and we will prepare ourselves for eternal life. He only asks that we keep His commandments.  i love the scriptures. we are so blessed to have them and to able to always know the will of our Heavenly Father. i know that this church is true. i know the Joseph Smith was a prophet and that through our living prophet Thomas Monson, God continues to perform miracles. miracles happen everyday! we just need to recognize them. it is so amazing.
i love you all so much! i am happy to know that everyone is doing good. keep it up. we can always do more. thank you for all the support!!
love,
Elder t. larsen
