this week was absolutely incredible. we worked really hard and the Lord truly blessed us! we truly found some elects that are prepared to receive the gospel!
well to start off i will talk about the most important information! we had a baptism. it was a very very special baptism. it was marcos´s baptism. he is a young man and is 11 years old. his mom was baptized a long time ago but has gone a little inactive. marcos started to go to church by himself. he even went to church 2 times before we found out that he wasn’t a member. when we found out, it was so cool. we started to teach him and i don’t have words to describe our lessons. he learned so fast and understood everything. he always surprises me with what he learns and remembers. we told his mom that he he wanted to get baptized. at first she didn’t want to let him because she wanted him to go a few more times and have a surety that he really wanted to be baptized. but then she was able to really see how prepared he was an let him be baptized. so his baptism was saturday. we went to the church in the afternoon to get the font ready. but there was no water. we thought that maybe it would come later in the afternoon so we went and taught some people. when we went back there still was no water. we found out that the church water system was broken. so we got buckets and started asking for water. we got some water from the people that live really close to the church. it was pretty crazy. by the baptism we had gotten just enough water for everything to work out. we were exhausted! but it was all worth it!!! His baptism was amazing! he came in church clothes and everything. his uncle baptized him. so we got to watch.
