This Elder Tullis. Tyler did splits with him this week.
essa semana tivemos nossa conferência de zona. conheci um elder que è de campinas. foi ele que veio para conversar comigo. ele me perguntou " vc tem um parente que serviu em campinas" eu disse "sim". ele falou que a ala dele foi sua primeira e que vc era bom e ele gostava muito de vc. o nome dele era gabriel da estaca castelo. nao sei se vc se lembra dele. agora ele è elder f. santos. ele começou a missao agora. parece gente boa. tambem tem um outro cara que quer me conhecer. ele mora em caucaia. os elderes da ala dele disseram que ele serviu com vc também. o mundo é pequeno! mas è legal conhecer pessoas que vc conhecia. espero que vc e sua esposa estejam bem. quero saber o que voces estão fazendo. onde voces estão morando. se tiver tempo, me mande um email!!
well how is everything going! how was the week? i hope it was good. i am so happy to hear all of this good news. it makes me so happy to know that rachel is going to get married. by the looks of the pictures she looks super super happy! it is really good to see that. i hope that all the preparations go well. it is good to hear that one of my best friends is getting married this week. that would have been nice to know a while ago. thanks taylor for telling me. write me! i am also very glad to hear that ben and jeff visited you guys. i can´t wait to see them. they were my heroes and really good examples.
well this week was crazy. we had a baptism. it was mateus. he went to church about 1 month ago with some friends that aren’t very active anymore. so since then we have been teaching him. he is 15 years old and is a really neat kid. i know that he is going to do great in his life. the ward in nova metropole is a very young ward, so he has a lot of support. he is already participating in the choir. it will be really good for him. i had the privilege to baptize him. it was an awesome experience.
we had another girl interview for baptism, and she passed. it was ellys. but sunday morning she got sick and could not go to church, so her baptism will be next sunday.and thomas had to travel so he couldn’t go to church as well. but we have already marked this sunday to be his baptism. so we will pray and see how it goes. he is awesome. he is 19 years old, and has an open heart.
there is also another man named valdecir that went to church yesterday that we will be working with to get baptized. he is a very humble person and wants to do what is right.
so we are working really hard. we are trying to get the ward really involved with the work. so it is getting better.
oh... also this last week we had zone conference. it was really good. but it lasted the whole day. we learned a lot! elder kalel and i had to do a training to our zone and then we did a bunch of practices (which means practicing the lessons) it was pretty neat. after the conference we did a split with the assistants. we got back to our area in time to teach one person. but still it was really neat to work with them. they are very experienced.
well that was pretty much our week. it was really good and it will continue to be good.

the church is true. the book of mormon is the word of God. and Jesus Christ is our Savior. i know that for sure!! i know that through Him, we will return to our Heavenly Father!!!
